The Big Day! Peter and Stephanie’s Edmonton NYE Wedding

On New Years Eve (day) we spend a breezy yet wonderful afternoon with Stephanie, Pete and their friends and family. We were there for the ceremony and the portraits section of the day; it was a great time! These two had such infectious smiles and were a total joy to photograph. The wind was cold that day, but wow I think Stephanie is the toughest bride…ever. Yup ever. Have a look at some of the photos!

There always seems to be a lot of talk in the photographer community about “that beautiful California light”. Some say it can’t be rivalled for its gorgeousness, but I’m here to tell you right now that if we had more light like we had the other day for the Jenkins family portraits… people would flock here in droves just for some of that “incredible Alberta light”…as long as they don’t mind the mosquitoes, that is.

The Big Day – Alethea and Tony’s Edmonton Wedding!

Alethea and Tony’s wedding day was quite the event! Everything from the church to the dessert at the reception was on a grande scale, which makes things pretty fun for us as photographers! Check out the photos from their wedding that took place this past Saturday.

We started our day at the ceremony, which was held at the gorgeous St.Josephs Basilica in downtown Edmonton. As you can see, it’s one of the smaller churches in the city…

Here’s our man Tony getting ready to walk down the isle. Holy boutonniere, Batman!

Our assistant/3rd photographer, Dylan grabbed this next photo. It really struck me while I was sorting through all the photos. I love it!

It was scorching hot outside! Even the miniature parkade thought so…

There reception was held at the enormous Hall D inside the Shaw Conference Centre. Sofia and her team from Awespiring Weddings and Design did an incredible job with the room.

The Big Day – Susan and Chris’ Muttart Conservatory Wedding!

The rain cleared and left us a beautifully sunny day this past Friday. All that glorious sunlight came shining on through the massive windows (are they still called windows when the entire wall is glass?) of the Muttart Conservatory here in Edmonton. These two were a joy to photograph!

The Big Day – Emily and Tyler’s Wedding!

Emily and Tyler have been friends of ours for a few years now, so it was really cool to see them get married last Saturday! To be their wedding photographers was icing on the cake Their wedding was photographed all around the Edmonton area and they even included a horse and carriage at one point! So cool.
