On New Years Eve (day) we spend a breezy yet wonderful afternoon with Stephanie, Pete and their friends and family. We were there for the ceremony and the portraits section of the day; it was a great time! These two had such infectious smiles and were a total joy to photograph. The wind was cold that day, but wow I think Stephanie is the toughest bride…ever. Yup ever. Have a look at some of the photos!

The Big Day! – Amanda and Justin’s Edmonton Delta Wedding

This wedding had a different feel to it than most for us. There was all of the major things you’d expect at a wedding, like a ceremony, some formals, a reception, (and all those things were spectacularly beautiful), but what was so cool was that it felt like there was this awesome creative collaboration going on between Amanda, Justin, Julianne (from A Modern Proposal) and ourselves. The amount of planning and effort that went into this wedding really showed in every little detail. Add to that an incredible couple (high school sweet hearts!) and you’ve got one seriously awesome wedding.We were SO happy to be the ones who got to photograph it all Have a look at Amanda and Justin’s big day!

While we were walking to our next shot location, I turned around and grabbed this quick shot. Missing a groomsman…but still good.

The moment we got to the top of the Edmonton Delta South, we did one thing immediately… run to a window like a moth and get a shot of the view!

This has to be the coolest and most creative guest sign-in board we’ve ever seen. The guests use their thumbprint as a leaf on a really cool tree (that Amanda drew) and write their name within it. Such a good idea!

The Big Day – Meghan and Mikes Edmonton Wedding!

September is my favourite month of the year. It’s just the right temperature outside, the leaves turn stunning colours and the mosquitoes are pretty much history. I love it. What could possible make September any better?

This wedding.

We enjoyed hanging out with and photographing Mike and Meghan so much over the last few months. We knew their wedding would be a blast and oh yes, we were correct! From beautiful Chinese traditions to rock’n out at McDonald’s before the reception, it was a day to remember for all the right reasons!

I give you… M&M’s wedding.

Raj and his team from A Love Story worked with Meghan and Mike throughout the day to create an incredible music video that they played at the reception! Awesome. Absolutely awesome.

Well, if you haven’t heard, we like our tea! So we were pretty excited when Mike handed us this box of incredible green tea that he brought us straight from Hong Kong. Thanks again for thinking of us, you’re too kind!

The Big Day – Adam and Desiree’s Edmonton Wedding!

We showed up that morning as strangers to everyone but Desiree and Adam, but by the end of the night, we felt like family. Adam and Desiree are a great couple and they we surrounded by the people in there lives who they love (and who obviously love them back!). It was one of those weddings that really reminds us why we do what we do! I think I’ve said those words a number of times this year and the best part is that I’ve meant it everytime, 100%. Thanks for sharing your day with us guys!
