We cook together, we ride bikes together, we drink tea together, we take photos together. Ryan and I love to work as a team, we got married so that we could spend the rest of our lives doing just that.
Although we do things together, that doesn’t mean we do everything the same. He drinks Earl Grey tea and I drink Orange Pekoe. Every morning Ryan makes us each a cup of tea and he always asks “what kind of tea?” We both know that I’ll always pick Orange Pekoe. But he always asks. Even though it might make more sense for him to make a pot of the same tea, he picks his own and I pick my own. Then we drink tea together.
When we take photos it always amazes me how totally different his are from mine even when we’re photographing the exact same moment. Although we each create our own images, they come together in a distinct style that is ours.
