The E-Session: Ryan and Mel!

One of the things we look forward to the most during the holidays is when all of Beth's cousins drive over from Vancouver to visit for a couple weeks for Christmas and New Years. This year was even more exciting because Beth's cousin Ryan and his fiance Mel had just recently asked us to be their wedding photographers this coming May! We knew we wanted to get in an engagement session before they headed back to the promised land...ahem... I mean Vancouver, so we thought it was the perfect time to utilize a great photo spot that was about 20 feet from our front door. Have a look see. We even employed one of Beth's other cousins, Jill to hold the flash set up :-) Thanks Jill!

Oh man, we're excited to shoot their wedding.

Trying out their sweet moves.

See you in May guys!

The E-Session - Amber and Darryl!

This last week has been one of the busiest of the entire year and one that we were really looking forward to because of the really cool weddings, speaking engagements (at the Love Story Wedding Expo) and E-Sessions like this next one. We're SO glad the weather has shaped up recently and it was pretty darn near perfect for Amber and Darryl's E-Session in the Edmonton river valley. Check'em out!

Watch out for their wedding photos, coming at the end of November!

The E-Session: Chelsea and Jeff!

This past Friday the sun finally came out for a little bit and luckily for us, it made it's appearance during Chelsea and Jeff's engagement session! We shot their session in a beautiful little spot that Beth and I drive by all the time in Stony Plain called...ahem...Dog Rump Creek. Interesting name, beautiful place.

Chelsea and Jeff are getting married in sunny Jamaica in 2012 but they wanted to get some engagement pictures done here in Canada and we were more then happy that they picked us to do it! We'll be seeing them again in just a couple months at her sister Brittany's wedding!

They have such a sweet and ridiculously well behaved dog named Job (I hope I'm spelling that right!! It's pronounced like robe but with a J). In just about all the shots you see of Chelsea and Jeff, Job is just hanging out minding his own business like ten feet away.

The E-Session : Heather and Jeff!

Here's an E-Session that we shot about 3 minutes from our doorstep out in Spruce Grove! Before we headed out, Heather and Jeff gave us the little pre-shoot warning of "We're not very photogenic so you've got your work cut out for you!"  but as you can tell pretty quickly...that's definitely not the case :-) Those two were awesome and we got SO many great shots of the two of them, it was hard to narrow them down at all! We're really excited to be shooting their wedding in about a month's time and you know we'll have lots of photos up right afterwards. Enjoy!

Not photogenic.... pshhh.

This what I love about shooting as a two-photographer team. While I was getting the last shot, Beth got this one.
