Alex and Julie’s wedding was such a cool event. Everything was held at the beautiful Union Bank Inn, they had a small number of family and friends in attendance which gave their wedding a great intimate feel and Alex and Julie themselves we’re a wonderful couple to hang out with and photograph. We were only there for a few hours that Friday afternoon, but we’ve got plenty of photos for you to check out! Have a look!

The Big Day – Ryan + Mel’s Vancouver Area Wedding!

Ryan and Mel’s wedding was definitely extra special to us, being that Ryan (no, not me) is Beth’s cousin! We went out to the coast a bit early and left a bit late so we could visit with friends and family, plus have a little vacation with our two boys, Casey and Tom. The highlight of the entire trip was definitely this incredible wedding and you’re about to see why!

This was such a cool reception venue! We LOVED all the natural light.

The Big Day – Brittany and Adam’s Devon Wedding! (Part 1 of 2)

So it was a little chilly outside the day of Adam and Brittany’s wedding(-25 Celsius with the windchill) but really, if we expected anything less from January in Alberta we’d be kidding ourselves right? We had a really good time hanging out with everyone and photographing such an important day in Brittany and Adam’s lives. There’s lots of great photos to share so this will be a two part-er!

The Big Day: Keith and Saba’s Wedding! Part 1 of 3

Wow, what an incredible week. Saba and Keith, you know how to celebrate a wedding! We photographed 3 days of wedding events – one of which brought us to beautiful Lake Louise – everything was so gorgeous and vibrant, but it was Saba, Keith and their wonderful families that truly made this wedding one that we will remember for a long long time!

The Big Day: Meghan and Chad in the mountains

We knew we were in for something pretty incredible after about 5 minutes of chatting with Chad and Meghan about their wedding day plans, right about the time when they started talking about needing a permit for the spot they wanted the ceremony to take place – on a hiking trail just outside of Canmore. It sounded like a pretty big job, but everything went off without a hitch and it was beautiful. The morning air was crisp, the sun was shinning, and no bears made a surprise appearance!

It was pretty hot that day so that guys decided to roll up their pants and cool off in a cold mountain stream. Things got a bit out of hand after this. Read on.

So this next one was shot from the waist up because well… they were’nt wearing pants…

The proof. They were waist deep in a freezing cold glacial stream! I can’t say I wasn’t a bit jealous, it was hot out there!
